lyrics

Every day ends the same:
another torn, written page.
Identity is a narrative
that you must read backwards (until…)

I heard someone in the house,
laughing, digging trenches.
I dreamed of snakes in my bedroom
that broke into pieces.

I can’t explain these visions
that I see every night.
Sister, get in the car
and drive, drive, drive, drive.

Fill my cup back up
with my favorite poison.
I need to feel young again
and shake off this feeling.

I’m afraid you ruined us
and sabotaged our building.
As of late I’ve seen my fate:
my head, set on a silver plate.

I can’t explain these visions
that I see every night.
Sister, get in the car
and drive, drive, drive, drive.

It's over, done, and buried.
